The Sterling Lodge is on the very top of Eagles Nest resting
at 5000’ elevation.
In the winter months Eagles Nest plows the roads and
the trip up the mountain comes with ease.
The lodge sits on top of a large flat area that is over
3 acres with no other dwellings that are visible to the
home. No driving way down in a hole or having to climb numerous
staircases to reach your entrance.
The Sterling Lodge has a 360 degree view looking over
the mountain tops of North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
Sitting just 500’ below the highest elevation point
in all of North Carolina the views are simply breath taking
and the climate at every season has the ultimate to offer.
In the summer months temperatures are in the 60s and 70s,
while in the winter months, if you like the snow this area
has more snowfall than any other area of the Blue Ridge
